Days Gone Delayed Until 2019
In a statement to Gamespot over the weekend, Sony announced that their exclusive zombie apocalypse game, Days Gone will be delayed until 2019.
The statement to Gamespot didn’t give a firm release date but stated “We can confirm that Days Gone will now be releasing in 2019 and we will keep you updated on the launch date.”
Days Gone was originally scheduled for release in 2018 and now reason was given as to why Days Gone has been delayed. The game is an ambitious project from Bend Studio so it is possible that the developers just need more time to ensure the game meets the vision that they have for the bikie-gang member vs zombies third person action game.
The game still appears to be using the “Mongrel” as the bikie gang affiliation for protagonist, Deacon St. John and kiwi’s will be well aware of the significance of using such a name that draws close comparison to the Mongrel Mob in New Zealand. Something that could potentially get some attention from the New Zealand Classification Board.
