Super Rugby is back on Sky from today
The 2019 Investec Super Rugby season is shaping as a cracker in a very important year for New Zealand rugby. With a rare unbroken Investec Super Rugby season, this will truly be a battle of attrition for New Zealand’s five Super Rugby franchises as they battle it out to claim the top prize alongside ten other sides. With 15 teams, four conferences, 18 rounds, 127 games and approximately 10,160 minutes of LIVE rugby on SKY Sport, there will only be ONE winner.
The SKY Sport team will be as busy as ever this Investec Super Rugby season with 40 onsite broadcasts scheduled in the regular season up and down the country, on the sidelines, in studios, up scaffolding, in the air, filming, interviewing, producing and broadcasting LIVE local rugby. With onsite broadcasts as south as Invercargill and as north as Suva, Fiji, there will be plenty of kilometres covered by the Kiwi team behind the New Zealand Super Rugby teams.
